ESCAPE CARBON XT is a versatile pole suited for both summer and winter outdoor activities. It’s particularly recommended for “vie ferrate”, cliffs approaching, trail running and ski mountaineering. The upper shaft is made with Gabel’s exclusive Snake Carbon while the lower part is in aluminum.
The pole is extremely light and thin, and can be adjusted to your desired lenght through the Fast Lock system by the use of a simple lever. Furthermore, the internal Multi Lock expansion system provides an additional way to safely lock the tubes.
This model is also equipped with the patented anti-impact elastomer which absorbs the hits with the ground without hampering the pole’s behaviour nor stressing your arms.
The carbide tip guarantees a solid grip on any soil. It’s also possible to choose from three different baskets varying in size.
Lastly, the strap is treated with a special antibacterial formula and is easily removed and washed thanks to the Top Click System inserted in the grip.
